thats what I thought, but then I heard One man owns all 5 McDonalds franchises in Brighton and he is a huge supporter. So its not actually the mcdonalds global company doing the deal but a local businessman.

Ah I see.

But would they be able to plaster the name of the parent company over our shirts? Maybe a 'local' deal would be allowed, hmm, exciting times.

Anyone for a BIG MACCY ADAMS? :)

its one thing to be bidding for the food contract, but it wouldnt be a local desicion to put the logo on a football team shirt. not going to happen. food? doubtful, and i'd hope the Albion had more credibility than that. im not against burgers but McD's have to be the lowest quality fast food chain. Uncle sams/Grubbs would be a far better idea (along with harveys/decent lager :drink:)

Can I just say, from a completely apolitical stance regarding McDonald's, that they make the worst hamburgers I have ever eaten. I went into one for the first time in about 5 years drunk the other day and I couldn't believe how shit it was. And I was drunk.

Surely a wind up anyway.
