The group of debt!
LOL - very good
The group of debt!
Rare for me to agree with Simster, but "this".
Farage is an opportunity politician who as Cameron has moved the tories into the centre has exploited the gap they've left behind. He's blusters and grandstands as he knows it will popular enough to get him a few million votes and a few nice MEP seats withouth any danger that he'll ever have any power or real influence.

That's a fair enough comment BUT.........
I think it's a good thing to have someone like him to sit on the euro parliament and expose all those wasters sitting on the euro gravy train. Anything that pisses them off is fine by me, although I'm sure they don't really care as they're living it up on expenses in Brussels while the rest of southern europe goes bust

The Euro is f***ed. It was the worst single idea in the history of mankind
I must admit to enjoying watching his little rants, and when speaking about Europe he indeed makes some good points. The Euro, with it's one interest rate fits all policy, was doomed from the beginning.
BUT, he has two major problems
(1) He IS UKIP - the rest of his party are invisible fools.
(2) His is a one policy party - talk about anything else, and they are clueless.
"Invisible fools" is an interesting use of words when they're still only starting to grow in popularity. Surely if they had done something foolish, they wouldn't be invisible? Besides, there aren't any UKIP MPs in parliament, the idea being that this will change once they start drawing support come the next election.
And, if you read their manifesto, it is full of sensible policies on a range of other matters, so they're far from a one-trick pony - it's just the Euro is their main party piece.
Farage is one of a very rare breed of politician, who has actually held a job before entering politics. He understands where many normal members of public are coming from, unlike the politicians that make up the 3 main parties currently.
I'm sorry I did try to overlook this post but in the end I just couldn't do it. "The worst single idea in the history of mankind"? Really? Worse than Nazism?
Nazism and the EU are the same idea.
Sorry.
Nazism and the EU are the same idea.
Sorry.
I'm far from a supporter of the EU ( exactly the opposite in fact ) but as yet I've not seen the EU suggest we round up the Jews and gas them. Quite frankly your comment is naive and disgusting.
Except that you are saying "Nazism is the genocide". Which it is not. The aim of Nazism was to unite Europe and the World under a socialist system. If Hilter won the war, he would have created the EU.
So it should come as no surprise that the EU is the brainchild of a 1955 meeting of the Bilderberg Group, which was founded by Nazi party member and IG Farben employee, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands.
Dutch Prince Bernhard 'was member of Nazi party' - Telegraph
Makes you wonder who really won the war.
I'm sorry I did try to overlook this post but in the end I just couldn't do it. "The worst single idea in the history of mankind"? Really? Worse than Nazism, or genocide, or suicide bombings, or apartheid, or child porn rings or Steven Spielberg's Hook? Surely not.
Not quite - the EU is a Union of countries with mostly democratically elected governments ( the governments in Greece and Italy were installed by the EU ). Hitler wanted a Greater Germany - i.e. the whole of Europe would be Germany rather than a collection of democratic countries.
Lol, the whole of Europe is moving towards being "Europe" rather than a collection of democratic countries. That is the whole idea silly.
