yes you are right but not all the time and the corners today werent particularly good and im saying without a tall target man in place of Henderson that can hold the ball up we need to play it more to feet and in anycase need a player of the quality of Warren Asprinals passing. Some of Jones and Harts crosses were a disgrace to the professional game!

I cant understand why you slagged of Henderson. He is capable of holding up the ball! I think your harsh to slag of our passing and crossing...admitted it could have been better, but it was hardly a disgrace to the professional game.

It was quite windy out there today and none of the crosses were that bad.

I find it funny when people moan at the short corners. Our short corners have been good this season. Today we had one and it resulted in Harty shooting just wide. Then we lump one in and they clear it easy. We're not a big team. I like the short corners.

Agree we need a bit more creativity. Hopefully Kanchelskis will provide that. Also Piercy looked useful.

I don't know how many times I think this, but we play crap with LONG BALL! We seemed to play it again today, and were terrible. Ahainst QPR, we played better with a passing game. Didn't think the crosses were as bad as you all seem to think, but long ball game does not suit our style of play.

Maybe it doesn't but we don't want to become to one dimensional do we? :D

I dont care how we play, as long as we get the points!

I got my biggest laugh of the season so far with FG saying we need a Warren Aspinall like player! :lolol: A feeble attempt to prove that he knows all about the Albion. Not a Jeff Minton type player. Or a Robert Codner type player. Or a Danny Wilson. Or a Dean Wilkins. But Fatman Aspinall.

FG - I always knew you were a numpty. Now - Q.E.D.

Shame there is no ignore feature on SCR!

Warren Asprinal and for the record Dean Wilkins have been the best passers of a ball the club has seen for many a years despite being fat and a bit slower Asprinal has superb vision for the game took uip excellent positional play and this more than made up for his lack of speed more importantly he could pass a ball some distance with accuracy i said someone like him in that respect!

Our crosses weren’t the best today. And I don’t like the short corners. But at least when we do get the crossing right it is productive.

So we need a central midfielder who can pass the ball well? Someone like say Simon Rodger? Except you can't accept him cos he's ex Palace.
As for the crosses there was a pinpoint cross first half that Leon headed just wide.
Henderson has set up goals in the last 2 home games. What more do you want from a target man?

Well I would like to see Dan Harding get a longer run out. He can put some good crosses in if the Leicester highlights are anything to go by.

I think if he and Piercy could improve their defensive play they'd be a shoe in.
