Stewards were a bit silly - kept telling us to sit down but their fans were allowed to stand.

Mind you gave up by the second half.

that was my first away game and it was absolutely fantastic. great noise. great atmosphere(especially for the goal!!!) just amazing.

we played them off the park and in the end it came down to a fluke header and a piece of class from a 10 million striker.

we can all hold our heads up high with pride as we know we were the best and our support was truely magnificent.

what a day!:clap2:

Long story which I'll probably end up telling later when I can be arsed but despite having an Albion ticket, I ended up only getting into the ground with a lot of nagging and paying £33 for one of only 10 returns in the Spurs end.

The net result was in Row 2 about level with the 6 yard line in the far corner to the Albion fans. So I had the 'best view in the ground' of Keane's trademark goal celebration as he fired his imaginary pistols into the crowd from about 4 or 5 yards in front of me.

Anyway, I digress. It was always going to be interesting to hear a large Albion contingent from the opposition's perspective. Yes, you were quite loud on occasions, but you were outsung by the Spurs fans several times in the first half. Bizarre that because of our respective names a lot of our songs are the same...

Perhaps if our usual supporters could get tickets?

They were pretty good in block 43 upper tier.
I asssaulted a policeman today and he smiled. :)

I had to queue for the ladies and was just coming back up the steps when Chippy equalised so I grabbed the nearest copper and hugged him

31,000 Spurs fans v 5,500 Brighton fans. I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of to be outsung but we couldn't really hear their fans in the South Stand.

Does this mean the away ticket went to waste?

I was in block 47 row 3. All I had behind me was the gangway for the exit. I started the game standing along with the friends that I was with. This steward come up to me and ask me to sit down. I pointed out to him that the spurs fans, along with the Brighton fans in the lower tier were all standing. He then said that was not his problem but I was and that unless is sat down I would miss the rest of the game because he would throw me out.

I was in no ones way, no one was complaining about it, it just seemed like a jobs worth to me.
