Great atmosphere where myself and the Yoda Clan were. There were a few non-singing bemused faces around but console yourself with the fact that if you supported someone like Man Utd you'd have to put up with that every game.

Didn't see you in the Irish centre Joe, so I ate the crisps myself!

Yeah, sorry about that Doug. We ended up in Weatherspoons and I got delayed there drinking with a Spurs buddy of mine. Hadn't had a beer for a week and the few I sank went straight to my head and I ended up wandering around the North End trying to work out how to get in and wondering where all the Brightons supporters had gone. The Spurs fans seemed to find it quite amusing. Hope you enjoyed the crisps.

what makes me sick is the fact that I actually had a ticket in the end but couldnt make it down in time- we just missed the cut-off and were on the waiting list, my dad phoned me on friday saying two tickets had just come through the post- but being up in ilkley north of leeds until yesterday having given up on getting tickets, there was no was i could afford the train fair etc to get down and then back up to manchester.

Was absolutely gutted- so my dad ended up going with his mate, and they got moved to the upper tier cos some old boy didnt like heights so wanted to move to the lower tier.

Anyhow, well done to everyone that was there- my dad said the atmosphere was fantastic and everyone did the club proud- our team and support.

I wonder how many will turn up to sheffield united next week though?? ???

I was right down the front, behind the goal, and the noise from our end was good. I think it's hard when there are that many people there, and we are divided into seperate tiers/stands for everyone to sing the same song at the same time. Quite often there would be one song on the go from our (lower) tier and another one from the upper tiers. We had the same problem at Cardiff and (on a smaller scale) at QPR. Starting to think that we might need songsheets to co-ordinate everyone and teach those who don't often go to away games the words!

Report from South Stand, Lower Tier, Block 36 ... Everyone stood throughout the game. Not a peep from any of the stewards. Or any of the spectators around me.

If people really wanted to sit, there was always the option of watching the game on the big screen.
