Whilst out last night I bumped into my mates who work at the club. One of them mentioned that one of the ladies who works in the ticket office is getting a bit fed up with receiving abuse every game because she has to leave her seat five minutes before the match finishes. She has to do this for work reasons (sorting tickets out etc) and not because she wants to avoid the post-match rush.

Surely most people have visited the ticket office at some point and will therefore recognise her from there.

I have been asked to put something on here to ask people to think before they start gobbing off. The lady also has a young child and it can't be much fun for them either.

People leaving early pisses me off as well, but in this case it's someone that probably doesn't want to miss the last five minutes, but has to for work reasons. As said before, she's pretty recognisable so there's not really any need for her to receive continued grief.

Fair do's.
I dunno why people make such a fuss about it. It's a fairly minor inconvenience to stand up and let someone through, although if it happens 3 or 4 times then I guess thats when people start getting pissed off. Worth bearing in mind that some people do have genuine reasons for leaving before the final whistle though.

Good call.

Sounds like she should be cut some slack as she works for the club. But i still hate other fans leaving before the final whistle!

I was walking down to the bus stop as quickly as possible after the match yesterday and i saw a bus load of Brighton fans leaving the bus stop just as i was walking around the corner at the bottom of the hill. It got me thinking of how early they must have left the ground to get to the bus stop AND fill the bus before i'd even got to cross the London road. If you have things that important you'd rather be doing then why not leave your ticket for someone who will see the game out FFS!!

Maybe the early leavers should have a letter from their mums excusing them.

Not aimed at the ticket office lady, but all the others who leave early.

Why do you do it? What is so important that you can't wait another 5 minutes? Why do you bother going in the first place if you're in such a rush to get home? Do you realise what the players think of it?

STAY TILL THE END & SUPPORT THE BLOODY TEAM!!!

This has been the topic of another thread - Rush Rush for the Bus - started by complaints about the same lady. After lots of debate about early leavers Dave the Gaffer has posted something very similar to the point made by Safeway.
