Is there some form of website that offers an average house price for various Districts?

A breakdown into flats/houses 1bed/2bed etc.

Plus Medians/Quartiles etc.

I am getting fed up of looking at every single property on the market!

Thank you, Gents, and Barnet :glare: :jester:

The trouble is, I need average prices for all property types.

1 Bed Flat
2 Bed Flat
2 Bed House
3 Bed House etc.

Then be able to work out the lowest; highest; median; mean; 1st Quartile etc.

I have so far found about 3,000 properties  Perhaps I just need to quit NSC for a few days.

I have never seen that before.

Not sure I like everyone knowing how much we paid for our house though.

Lots of sites now give property price specifics now. It's quite useful, when buying a property, to see what the seller paid and when and compare to average movements.

Also useful to us Mortgage Broker types when sifting through the BULLSHIT served up by some clients when asked the value of their house!

I guess.

I just think it's quite a private thing - how much money you paid for your home. It's like asking someone their salary.

Ya think? You might want to take it up with the Land Registry then. I think this data has been publically available for some time, it's just easy now on t'web.

With a little bit of local knowledge and/or the property paper you could guess what any other place is worth, give or take a little bit.
