Whilst I admit the "not in the mood thread" is banal and brainless, it's not actually doing any harm. I'm all for banning racists and abusive people, but we can choose to ignore Kev's bland pointlessness quite easily. I don't really see that he needs to be banned

Hmm - I'm going to sit on the fence this time. There were lots of laughing smileys on that thread so a few people enjoyed it. Better than the "Here are my pictures of Fawlty Towers" thread.
If this guy is for real, he needs counselling. Pouring out you heart to 2000 'strangers' is not wise or healthy. Can anyone give me an exact age so I can put this all in context? They way his defenders leapt into action, you would think he is 13-14. But I'm sure I read college somewhere so we must be talking 16-18. Probably too old to be this immature.
My suggestion, if it can be done, is a yellow and red card system I have seen on another forum. The Yellow Card acts as a warning and runs for a set time. If another 'offence' occurs during this time, a ban is invoked. The Yellow Card duration could replace the Players name title or the signature.
I've never known a user polarise views since the heady days of vintage E Block Ernie.

Kev got off to a storming start with his wrestling posts. The revelation that the WWE wrestler Kane was going to be beat his (Kev) head in, after Kev had dissed the wrestling stars sister. That stuff was pure gold.
Then he discovered how to post pictures and he rapidly became the most annoying person to go on NSC since Dave the Eagle. His Fawlty Towers "thread" was possibly one of the worst ever seen here (and it's got a lot of competition).
I do enjoy his relationship posts, though I think I enjoy peoples outaged responses to his banality more than his posts. The fact that he can inspire such rage in otherwise well adjusted people is reason enough to keep him here.
