Im trying to get my sun dream team sorted and its doing my 'kin head in.

Iv changed it so many times and now would like some general advice before my selection is complete.

Should I go for all out attack, with two of the following partnering Zamora....... V.Nistelrooy, Henry, Shearer, Owen.
Leaving me searching for bargain buckets to fill the rest of my team.

OR

A more balanced option with one of the above strikeres a solid midfielder & defender i.e Scholes, Campbell.

Im starting to sway towards a balanced option, but goals mean points and points mean prizes..

Go with Van Nistelrooy and Henry.

Most fantasy leagues this year have a few good bargains knocking about.

I think the general rule is goals. Get goal scoring defenders, midfielders and uh strikers.

sorry, was supposed to be Zamora - just can't tell the difference! :dunce:

Did your mother drop you on your head when you were a baby? Butter fingered fool that she is.

Probably! It sounded like she was throwing you around a bit from the noise last night - it's bad enough trying to sleep in this heat!

She certainly is a bedroom acrobat of the highest order your mother, she also enjoys a good lug f***ing nowadays.

The Sun game is more difficult, I think, than the Telegraph game - certainly with regard to picking a team.

We're playing to The Sun rules at work - there is an extra incentive to do well - for each point you finish behind the winner you have to pay them £1. Fortunately, possibly, the maximum loss is capped at £50.

My team (I'd forgotten about Bakke's injury) is:

Player Team Position Value
R Wright Everton Goalkeeper £3.0m

Keown Arsenal Defender £3.0m
Taylor Portsmouth Defender £2.5m
M Taylor Blackburn Defender £3.0m
Upson Birmingham Defender £3.5m

S Davies Tottenham Midfielder £3.0m
Bakke Leeds Midfielder £2.5m
Savage Birmingham Midfielder £3.0m

Van Nistelrooy Man Utd Striker £7.5m
Scowcroft Leicester Striker £1.5m
Henry Arsenal Striker £7.5m

The 3 keys to a successful fantasy league team.

1. Spend all your initial money on strikers and in the midfield.
2. Use transfers to make money up until christmas.
3. Post xmas, only make changes if you have injured or suspended players - resist the urge to chop and change.

Ok done my team. I have

T Howard (MU)

W Bridge (CHE)

S Carr (TOT)

J Woodgate (NEW)

J Yobo (EVE)

J Jenas (NEW)

H Kewell (LIV)

T Sinclair (MC)

S Wright Phillips (MC)

A Smith (LEE)

R Van Nistelrooy (MU)
