Any details about what time the train leaves Brighton?? And where it stops??

It is quite probably heading for Wembley given the shambolic organisation so far today :p

£27.50 is a good deal. Congrats are in order. I think when/if I get a ticket, this seems a good bet. Might get a full car which would out a little bit cheaper.

Four or five hours?

I have done the trip before on the old sprinter trains which for that long are a bit uncomfortable.

Had a half idea to drive to Swansea and take the train the rest of the way. Takes an hour from Swansea which is a long time and probably expensive.

As someone posted on another thread a couple of days ago, the same alcohol ban on trains to Cardiff applies to all trains (not just charter trains) running on the three days of the playoffs.

Train goes Hove then worthing - so it's going coastline, up through Salisbury, Bath, and then across via Bristol Temple Meads!

If it's any help my two train tickets were numbers 200 and 201 respectively.

Is this definite?

Do you think it will be strictly enforced?

Yes it will - Byelaw and you may well have British Transport Police travelling with you to enforce the rule.

However a hip-flask might come in handy :p

I am sure there will be a Police presence but I very much doubt they are going to strip seach everyone for alcohol.

I just wondered how strictly they will enforce it.

I remember having to put 8 beers into Burger King cups on the way to Colchester once.

You will be arrested if you drink - simple as that.
