In a recent interview Micky Adams said that he felt that he had support from most of the fans - he says that he only has a few too win their support over. What does everyone think?

Pretty accurate.

Although there are mumblings in the crowd, there have been no chants of 'Adams Out' that I have heard.

Obviously here on NSC there have been people calling for his head. But this is a small minority of Seagull supporters.

at first I really thought these sort've threads were a joke

now I know they ARE in fact a joke , just in a different way

ok the results have been lackluster so far but it is still early days and I'm still after each game finding positives out of them - when that stops , questions have to be ask

worryingly though NSC now has turned into a lynchmob and bays for blood at every opportunity possible.

Listening to his interview, I think the way he put it was that 'he had lost a few fans'. This is probably correct and is slightly different from saying that he only has a few fans to convince.

On current form he has to convince us all, but I suspect there's only a minority who are overtly anti-Adams (and most of them are those who were so from the outset because they disagreed with Wilkins' sacking and don't really want him to succeed).

I support him because of what he did for us before, he has done nothing to earn that support from what I have seen from him this season.

Correct. One positive out of the game was that we did not let a goal in at the last seconds of each half. That is an improvement. Yeah we should have won the game but it sounded like they had 10 men behind the ball. Not easy to play against.

Some odd chants cropping up in H block now tho...

When an opposition player has committed a foul and the referee is reaching for his book, the shout goes up 'ON! ON! ON!'

And when the clock reaches 40 or 85 minutes it's 'Come on ref, blow your whistle!'

I've supported them for 50 years and have watched crap football for a lot of that time. My expectations have never been higher than mid-table third divison becuase that's where we've been for most of that time. My hopes have always been much higher, of course, and the few occasions when we have achieved that have been very special.

We know why we pay what we do at Withdean - the price is dictated by circumstances. What we pay for a ticket has never had anything to do with the quality of football - at the Albion or any other club. As a customer we all, of course, have the choice to withdraw our custom if you don't think you are getting value for money - as with anything else you buy. If you buy a season ticket you choose to do so knowing you are paying for a whole season despite the fact that there are no promises or guarantees of good or winning football, just 90 minutes of football.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with our home form either but there's nothing I can do about it, I've seen it all before many times and, in the end, I support the Albion totally - neither the chairman, the manager, the players, nor the ground are as important as the 'club'.

I have been a supporter for over 60 years and agree with this post totally. We have had shit in the past which saw us drop to the 4th division and also nearly out of the league so I am hopefulthat in the long term we will improve yet once again.

I'm not miserable old or a whinger :tosser:

You may not be the first two, but you are certainly the third! I may have missed a few, but I cannot a remember a post from you that was not whinging and criticising.

Apologies if that is not correct but that is certainly my strong impression.
