Or even Steve from Bucks
Maureen from Moulescomb? :)

In all seriousness, and echoing what Nick above says, people could improve enormously if they actually thought about and wrote down their question first question time style. If it’s a paragraph long, then it’s not really a question; just them blithering on making general comments. Which is what usually happens at these open-mic events. Barber is a saint for fielding such village idiots, I’d want to scream “oh for the love of god…”

Not sure there is as much of this as you imagine . Certainly not the last few. Anyway - does it matter THAT much. Barber and Bloom are the most accessible football leadership team going. You can hear them be interviewed, or ask your question or email them pretty much anytime you want.

I like ‘meat on the bone’, ITK facts and perspectives. Bloom, Barber and RDZ are interesting people. The hour should be optimised with them (whichever ones attend), not littered with mini speeches all saying exactly the same thing.

Not sure why there's always a NSC thread about the forum (very little about the other events the club holds etc) - and its always an opportunity for people on here to mock those brave enough to front up and ask a question.
Oh do behave. What is brave about asking questions that have been repeatedly answered before and/or simply liking the sound of your own voice? Yes there are some intelligent and original contributors, and I’d hazard there’d be more if the mic wasn’t hogged by Terry from Worthing who goes home and away and to everything the club has ever put on because he’s nothing else to do since 1970.

Think Terry had a conflicting appointment on March 5th 1989 when he needed to mend his Aunts hostess trolley at the same time as Barry Lloyd was fronting an Albion who wears the nicest underpants evening at the Greyhound track.

Then listen to em on a podcast or a 1:1 interview with a presenter or press conferences. It’s a fans forum - it’s going to be different and for some, flawed, but there’s plenty of choice if you’re after meat on the bone.

I may tune in to hear information from the interesting powers that be and chuckle at the spoken ever so slowly arse licking. It’s part of the comedy calendar.

I see it for what it now is. There really isn’t anything that necessitates now, IMO, we are a long way from the Concorde days.

Cantor just asked people to keep questions relevant to the masses. Any personal gripes/questions can be handled after.

Doris from ovingdean just stormed out.

i alwys quite enjoy these forum things. Even if its a bit of end of season fluff, after all, they wont gtive away anything substantial. My one big gripe is that as its only an hour long, wtf do the questioners spend 5 mins saying thank you, amazing season, 40 year supporter, blah blah blah. Just ask the question, quickly. They could get through twice as many questions wqithout the history and endless "thanks for a wonderful European adventure" . Thats a given, say it once at the start and then get on with it.

Also no one gives a crap about what vegan wine options are avaialble in hospitality, or why isnt scented toilet paper available in the toilets
It’s a great gesture by the club to allow this access to the fans (many don’t) however I don’t think for a second Barber minds the fill-busting intros that run down the clock

The best ones are on quizzes when they get a question about Henry VIII and shrug shoulders...."before I was born".
