Can't find the thread (even with the search), but i'm sure someone said there was supposed to be a fans forum at Withdean on Aug 2nd (this thursday)... no official announcement so i'm assuming this was not true after all?
Would more likely be NEXT thurs - Aug 9th?

I'd actually say that it's a time when a lot of people who claim they want to ask questions of the board actually don't even bother to go or bottle it when they get the chance.

What the point of Mark McCammon was, which McGhee didn't seem to take too well. Personally, I feel it was a very valid question, vindicated by the fact that McCammon did leave not very long afterwards.

That's only because of the timing of it. The only 'negative' issue to be questioned really is "why haven't we signed more players in order to help persuade people to spend £20 and come to Withdean?"

Nobody is discontented at this time of year, and thus nobody says anything interesting.

If there was a forum after every run of 5 games without a win, then you'd probably get more of the 'bottlers' turn up. (Not that i think that should happen!)

What McGhee said was that he didn't like the tone of the question and it would be good for fans to remember that we had stayed up by just one point. Trolley earned us a point in one game alone.
There is nothing wrong in a manager standing up for his players.

It also goes to show you can ask anything you want at these forums. I'm sure Mr Banana can think of something in 3 days??

Nothing particularly, it's just the way you immediately jumped on my understanding of events with what came across as quite a patronising, 'i-know-better' tone, which of course you are able to take as you were there. I also don't see how our two accounts are particularly contradictory anyway.

I had already given the answer which you hadn't read. I didn't IMMEDIATELY jump on your understanding. You perceived it that way not having read my post above yours.
