Quite a few of that age group are as pissed off with the coke-snorting, excessive drinking, ignorant of everything and anyone else crew as the old gits amongst us. What was done to encourage younger fans to stand ? From what I’ve seen up till now the fan’s forums are pretty much a middle-aged gathering of old farts as it is, so no surprise they aren’t going to be fully represented on the FAB.

I’m maintaining my cynicism about the whole thing for now.

There were at least two candidates in that generation, Seb Samrah and Jack who posts on here and possibly others. However, the club, as pointed out on here, only wanted a worded bio and no photos to avoid exactly the sort of thing they're now being accused of.

If you want one from every pot then just appoint them.

Have young (under 30s) ever been represented in society? They certainly are not in any form of government, and when they are it’s usually a snotty William Hague type (young Tory) or a Young Ones Rick type socialist worker. The silent majority in all age groups and demographics are just that… silent.

There were younger people nominated, they just didn’t win.

Perhaps, just like with other votes, young people haven’t bothered voting and then don’t like the results

Isn't that just pure guesswork???

So you’re insulted by that insinuation but you’re quite happy to paint an entire generation as cocaine takers?

Well the "Pint, Packet, Potter" stickers everywhere and huge queues for a "poo" at away games featuring youngsters are probably not helpful. What, specifically, do you think that an under 30 who doesn't fall into that group could offer that, say, a 35 year old or 43 year old who also doesn't could not?

I'm giving you a reason to mobilise your vote, which you seem to have totally failed to do.

And, on a personal level, I know Hiney and the insinuation that he wouldn't represent ALL supporters regardless of demographic as completely insulting. He has a Brighton supporting son. I imagine he'll be consulting him.

You and Brian Fantana are both coming over as people who had a dog in the fight and don't like how the fight turned out.

I didn't run, so my job wasn't to mobilise anyone. I'd love to see the full results though, just to see how far off that demographic was. Shame the club hasn't been willing to post the results.

Again, you're the second person unable to read, I'm not insinuating the members of those board aren't going to represent the youth voice, I'm asking them how they plan to as democratically elected members of the board. Am I not allowed to ask that question? You seem to have taken an awful lot of offence to it being asked to a point you've completely misunderstood it.

Interesting that I'm coming off as a sore loser for asking one very simple, very fair question (that hasn't been addressed by the way) and you who branded everyone under 35 as cocaine snorting violent hooligans is absolutely fine? Again, if you're so willingly able to brand the entire generation under 35 with such offensive accusations I dread to think what you have to say about other demographics, very very suspect stuff here.

You're the one who wants a ring fenced place for a certain demographic.

.

And, no I haven't. You said that demographic had been totally overlooked. They hadn't. At least three nominees from that demographic. They just didn't win.

So, I would suggest that if you want that group represented then you campaign for that group. I mean, you do have a Brighton and Hove Albion fan podcast and twitter, don't you?

Again, I would love to see the results of the vote, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. I'm done with this conversation anyway, its the same story every time you engage an extremist. Speaking to someone like that is like smashing your head against a wall, it just hurts the brain. I'm sorry, genuinely, that you hold such extreme views about over 25 million people in the general population and I am happy for you that you don't have to worry about cocaine addled violence besmirching the Fan Advisory Board.

Do you have a podcast and popular Twitter account about the Albion? You've dodged the question.

OK The_Viper as you seem a little reluctant to answer, here we go.

You have a youtube, Twitter and podcast called TogetherBHA (which is actually not bad with decent guests)

Had the pleasure of about a 45 minute chat with Crofty, he talks a lot about his time with the Albion and the transition into coaching. Well worth a listen even if I do say so myself... If you don't want to hear me talk about balloon gate and some other Albion related stuff you can skip to about 9 minutes in.

Yet the first time you decided you were interested in this issue was literally today when you posted:

[TWEET]1527991134189981697[/TWEET]

And, I presume, are trying to boost your 11 likes for that tweet on here.

Either you're an influencer or you're not. But, as I've said, you seem to be moaning about the outcome of something you couldn't be bothered to try and influence, despite having over 1000 followers and relationships with other blogs and casts.

I agree full results would be good to see.

I would like to see some youngsters on there too.

Would have, I knew nothing about the vote until reading this thread.

Can we have another referendum?

This thread was started at the end of April in support of a candidate.

So, are you saying that, despite it being prominent on the club's official site and a thread on here that's been going a month, the first you knew of any of it was when your "NSC Wind Up GB" radar went off?

Honest, never saw it at all.

I would have voted for Barry The Ladder as he looks a genuine geezer.

How much door-knocking did the candidates do??

Looks like a bit of NSC self-promo was done by the bishop, lets hope he puts in a top performance and the Ladder man will hold him to account if need be.

So basically "I think something I didn't know about and can't be bothered with should contain people I don't know because saying this will give me an opposite position to someone else on the internet".
