I am taking my 6 year old daughter to her first match on sat, but never been in the family stand.

Is the view ok ?

get tickets for the back IMO, you maybe further away from the pitch but the view is much better, and if you get the back row standing isnt really a problem

It's a decent view, went there last Feb, it's also quick and easy to get out and small queues for the food but try to remember where you are, I didn't and swore a few times

When I went the stewards told us to sit where we like, I assume that was the norm?

I have been in there a few times and have to say I quite enjoyed the view. Near the back is best. But the middle is ok to.

I was only in that stand for the Soton and Stoke games last year when it was pretty full so I assume when its not so busy its not a problem to sit where you want

I will be in row P of the Family stand on Sat.

Generally speaking the furher back you are the better, but its not a bad view (well not as bad as the away end must be!!)

We have season tickets on the top row so I wouldn't sit where you like as certain Family Stand members are still a bit annoyed at being moved from Block B.

I'm taking my son in the family stand again on saturday...never had any probs although there is a bloke who sits there with three kids who is a bit of a stroppy git and one of the kids just pisses about and doesn't watch the game!
