Family seating at The Amex

After 10 great years of independence in the south stand, my 8 year old daughter wants to become a season ticket holder at Falmer. Great to be able to introduce a new generation of Albion fan, but I do have misgivings about moving to the 'family' section, and the a different atmosphere. Am I being over sensitive. Has anyone else had to take this huge step? I'm sure the view will be better, as at Withdean you need binoculars at sunglasses!:mexican::mexican:

Especially when some of the Dads try to start a chant.

I'd say get her a ticket in one of the ordinary stands, but at 8 she may be a bit young for some of the language.

Tough one. I suppose it would be worth attending a match or two in the family section at the withers to get a feel for the differences before committing to a season ticket.

I have had to the same thing with my son and really isn't as bad in the family stand as you think. And it will be cheaper for you and your daughter in tue family stand than you on your own in the south stand. I'm hoping similar pricing will be in place at the Amex as well.

I've spent most of the Withdean years sitting in the family stand & I have to say the atmosphere is generally pretty good & light hearted. At the Amex I expect it to be even better.

I am a season ticket holder in T block, row R and am probably only sligtly further from the pitch than the front row of the south stand (albeit the corner)

Atmosphere can be good, it is light hearted. If I was rich I would choose to sit at the side, but the pricing only makes sense to me in the Family stands. I have 2 kids under 10, so its literally a tenner each for their ST. It would cost me over £300 more in the South Stand.

Can't wait for Amex. I think the east stand will be the family stand, although prob not all of it. I hope the pricing is as keen for the little ones. I know the view/atmosphere will be even better!
