Falmer Station

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is Falmer Station getting upgraded ir just being left as it is...and if so....who is paying? club or the southern trains or both?

new ticket barriers , longer platforms , they might also need a security gate to stop too many people going onto the platform all at once , new walkway to the stadium. I think the cost is coming out of British Bulldog's overtime money.

I suppose it depends on the length of the train , are they 2 carriages at the moment ?

Its going to take a hell of a lot of 2 carriage trains to fill Falmer!!!

We've done all this before.

The problem is that the Brighton line platforms at Lewes can't handle 8 coach trains that start or terminate at Lewes.
