Riverside stadium = 9 months. Apart from a lot of earth moving and levelling i don't see why it should take much longer.

i predict the clearing of the land and building of the stadium to take 18mths. But it might take longer as the club may have to wait for cash to be available for diferent stages of the project. If you take a bit longer the cost might be cheaper too, so it may be in our interests to wait a bit (ie they'd be more cash available for players). So i wouldnt be surprised if we dont see the first game until 2007.
At the end of the day, im in the camp that doesnt mind waiting a bit once the decision is made, we'll get there in the end.

Cannot belive that we could end up waiting 3 + years for the stadium to go up . Look at Arsenal, I saw a picture of their new stadium in the papers and its already half built , how long ago did they get the green light, surely not that long ? If money is the old problem , then its a bloody disgrace, we have waited all this time , so the money ( or promise thereof ) should have already been in place.

If we are still at Withdean when I get my OAP Season Ticket (as I have predicted) it will be 12 years the same time as it took Charlton to return to the Valley. 2008 anybody?
