Gilliver's Travels
Peripatetic
Sorry, can't be bothered checking through all of NSC for previous references, but I've just noticed how the Falmer Antis website is currently explaining the latest appalling injustice wreaked by the evil Government upon that tranquil, unspolit village.
"The government have now given the go ahead to the stadium at Falmer, on the same regeneration grounds as last time. The public inquiry system seems to be rigged in favour of the Secretary of State, who can not only make or change the rules, but can it seems choose and change inspectors. We are now waiting for legal advice to see if there are grounds for a challenge in the High Court."
The fact there are still no other suitable sites available (just as there weren't in 2005 either) seems to have escaped the motley assortment of imported northerners, mouldy pie makers and polyversity lecturers who apparently make up the poor downtrodden masses of Falmer.
If I didn't live 3500 miles away I might be looking to attend their upcoming village hall meeting...
