His wife has never settled up there, and wanted to be back down South, could turn out to be a very good signing

May I add well done to Barry Lloyd and Dick Knight on this one. Just Richards and AN Other (poss Currie) and I will be very happy.

Shame to lose him as probably he and Pedro have been our best two players so far this season.

From ear cupping to goal of the season, he's been in some form

It would be an absolute disgrace for a lower league English team to come in and take an in form, 1st team regular of a high flying SPL team (who also happens to be the club captain) for next to nothing.

On Thommos performances this season the club should not let him go for less than a million

You'd think we'd actually signed a decent player of some calibre but that's not the Albion way is it?

Must admit I was a tad surprised that the captain of the team placed 6th in the SPL signed for an English division 3 side.

I know! Brilliant isnt it. I am so suprised that we have actually signed a decent player for a fee from a club most people have heard of. As a bonus, he isnt either at the end or beginning of his career. Someone with genuine experience and miles left on the clock. Pinch me someone.

I know, do you think he misheard "League One" for "division one"? Perhaps he thought that DK was just using the old, pre-permiership, divison names - in which case he's in for a bit of a shock when he finds out he'll be playing the likes of Crewe and not Chelsea.

And I take it he hasn't seen the ground ...

I'm now feeling a whole lot less cynical about this signing having read the views of their fans.

Wilkins, Lloyd and the man stumping up the cash, this is for you ->

I guess that goes to show the standard of Scottish football

Ah.... from the BBC website "Falkirk had wanted to retain Thomson's services, but the midfielder wanted to return to England for personal reasons."
