It's just been dragging on for so long now, have got sort of conditioned into fully thinking that it won't be a straight Yes or No to Falmer. Just sort of assuming that it'll be a 185 page report that ends up says that half a dozen of the sites were an inasult to the intelligence and can we have one more round of inquiry to whittle down the shortlist of three. Personally I'll be utterly gobsmacked if it comes down to a straight YES to Falmer.

A definite YES for Falmer. The ODPM will link the announcement to Falmer being one of the venues for the 2012 Olympic games, in my opinion. (the Goldstone hosted a football match for the 1948 Olympics)
