Buonanotte has had some great moments, but not really any great games. And he has seldom been allowed to start in his preferred number ten role (which is probably related). We're still waiting for that breakthrough performance.

If he is allowed to play as a 10 for Feyenoord and show some progress in that role, then that should be to our benefit. As for the option to buy, that needs to be set high with significant add-ons, bearing in mind his age. Although I'd prefer a straightforward loan.

His best match was probably when he scored in the 5-0 away win at Sheff.Utd.

It was one of the few times he got to play in that no.10 position.

Which is probably fuel to his detractors who question whether he can earn us points in a big moment in a big game.

I agree with the point which has been made about him though that many of his matches have been out on the wing where is he always going to struggle

He’s too good for this…..

I imagine he’ll be thinking f*** that am I going there.

I’d love to play for Celtic or Rangers for 4 games a season. But l don’t think smashing St Mirren at home or playing in front of 4,000 people away at Motherwell would do it for me if I were an 18 year old Argentinian international.

Buenonotte needs a loan where he is going to play every week in his preferred position against quality opposition. Not 4 huge games a season and a load of utter dross the rest of the time.

Better than what were bringing in (O’Riley) IMO

Just wonder whether Buonanotte has asked for a loan to support regular game time and a return to the national team
Let’s be real - he played 2 friendlies for Argentina in fairly experimental teams neither of which had Messi

The Dutch league is a huge step down from the premier league really sad if Buononotte goes there as I thought he was improving week on week last season
I’d fancy him to score plenty in both so wouldn’t be a bad thing

Equally anyone coming the other way is a risk ( we’ve seen it before )

At least with o Reilly and wieffer . We double our chances of one of them being ok

Interesting one regarding Southampton… I’m torn. He’ll be worth a hell of a lot more if he performs well for them regularly in the Premier League than if he did the same in the Eridevisie. But the thought of him helping keep them up is not one I like
I think it's poor if we are offering him to improve a PL competitor and until things are proved differently they area competitor.

Or because Enciso (and potentially Gruda) would be ahead of him at least. So it makes sense for him to go out on loan and get proper gametime. Remember we were very close to loaning him to Leeds last season.
