Unless we find better. OK player, but bloody weak. Maybe he can get a bit stronger. Pretty sure that as a prem. top 10 side we can do better.
He’s 19 🤯

I feel like people forget this because he seems to have been around while, once he matures into his body and all the usual stuff as players mature he could be a real player, he’s already very technically gifted just raw and needs to find his exact position.

Hard to tell from just highlights but wasn't he playing as one of the CMs against kajima?
Apart from experience the only thing I slightly doubt for the role is stamina, and given the amount of running the chosen two (assuming FH stays with his previous system) are going to get through there's going to be plenty of minutes for substitutes there.
Definite stay for me

I'm would be happy with that. A 1 year loan and then back here to rip the league up

The kid, at a much younger age, has shown much more than Ali Mac had after 1.5 seasons. He’s got a massive ceiling and letting him got to the Dutch noddy league with a right to buy would be insane imo.
I’m more interested in the 25/26 Facundo than the 24/25 one who surely won’t be a go-to starter for us.

The 25/26 Facundo could be better with a loan and plenty of minutes. A similar loan made Minteh Mint, it can make Buonanotte into a Buen jugador!

The guy needs to stay and be given game time....

I did see a comment that we won't need as many players these season as not in Europe, well a couple of decent cup runs would put pressure on the squad if we don't have the numbers and there were times last year we just scraped things together. I would prefer to see how season starts then maybe loan if he is not playing/developing.

Bags of talent but does need a bit of support AND needs to play as a 10 and not on the wing.

For me very much depends on what happens with Groß and WBG, if one or both of them move on I can see FB getting a chunk of game time, if they stay around then a development loan might make sense.

Tho a buy clause could end up being a frustrating situation like Undav

This doesn't make any sense.

From outside it doesn’t, but we have no idea how happy the player is, how happy the coaching team are with the player’s development and progress, and whether there might be personal reasons for the player wanting to move.

I feel it would be a shame to lose him as he was developing, and would have really benefited from playing in the Ali Mac role rather than out on the wing, but we seem to be buying players for that role, so perhaps we were already aware that Buonanotte wanted away. In all these things we have to trust in the player and the club to find the right solution.

A shame if he does go, but our new look side does need a trim so some players will inevitably have to go. In and around the squad alone we’ve got March, Buonanotte, Mitoma, Osman, Minteh, Adingra, Baker-Boaitey, Cozier-Duberry, Sarmiento and Enciso who are able to play on the wing.

Even allowing for Sarmiento, Osman, Buonanotte and Enciso who can play 10, that leaves us with six players vying for two spots. With even more transfers linked and to come.

Realistically, definite want-to-keeps for our first team squad this season are Mitoma, Minteh, March and Osman. I can’t see Cozier-Duberry going anywhere either.

This leaves the sale/loan of any the rest. So while I don’t want to see Buonanotte go, some of them have to and will probably want to given their prospective lack of playing time.

Looks like it’s a loan and possibly a sale. 😞

Loan is definitely realistic, and a good idea for a clearly talented 19 year old. No chance we’re including a buy option though. It’s just not our MO for such a young player, especially who’s only been with us 18 months.

I'm not against a loan but selling him on the cheap seems remiss. And yes, it would be on the cheap as Feyernoord aren't big spenders and his value is only going to rise.

I suppose it’s ok to sell for a low-ish fee if there’s the chunkiest of sell-on fees.

I’d rather see him stay, or loan without a buy option, but I trust the club.

That Twitter account just trawls Twitter and posts anything it finds to do with the Albion. Trace it back to the original report: https://1908.nl/artikelen/feyenoord-en-brighton-in-gesprek-over-buonanotte and it sounds fairly speculative, filling out the article with tangents and says a loan and that negotiations will show whether they'll be a sale will be an option. There won't. Getting FB a development season like Minteh's just had would be our way. Selling him when he's not yet reached his potential would not. Bloom's always been clear, everyone is for sale at the right time and at the right price. For Buonanotte this isn't the right time and the right price won't be coming from Feyenoord.
