This is the first posting on NSC including the word BROCCOLI - spooky

18-11-2003, 16:13 Further to Easy 10's previous speculation regarding my lunch, the correct answer is Beef & Mushroom pie, with Brocolli, Boiled Potatoes, and gravy.

EDIT: Maybe not as I spelt it wrong in my search

Fuckov, no other quiche touches a cheese & broccoli one, mind you leek/spring onion is also nice.

Although I hate the crusty bits, tend to eat just the inside.

Broccoli and Oyster Sauce are a marriage made in heaven.

.. with fresh garlic and ginger, and a little water the mix becomes too dry.

Don't discard the thick stem either (as usual), it is full of flavour.

Simply peel it and slice into thin pieces, stir frying with the rest.

You can reduce the price of your BROCCOLI, by breaking the stem off and leaving it in the supermarket.

In the world of soccerball clubs, I may be no fan of Bristol City FC - indeed I rather dislike them - but that may change now that it has become apparent that said club name uses all letters except one "O" from the word BROCCOLI, which is a superb effort.

Small raw sprigs/florets of BROCCOLI are nice with mayonnaise.

Sainsburys used to something like this with bacon bits sprinkled on too.
