We were the better team in the first half but unfortunately we didn't really mount an attack in the second half and in the end it wasn't quite enough
(Pearson was subbed by Beda just on 90 mins btw)
A shame for the youth but they did very well.

Pearson was very impressive.
I said to Ned that he was my Albion MOM.
Good performance in the first half, in the second United's greater physical strength began to tell and we had 11 men in our half until they equalised. Upton led the line well, and we looked weaker without him.
United had a good front two and one lad in midfield (Drinkwater) who seemed quite useful, though would be surprised if they break through.
Crowd 306, of whom about 80 were Albion. Best chants were 'Champions League, you're having a laugh' when we were 1-0 up, and someone shouting 'If your fans were worried about being stabbed in the arse in Rome last night you had better not come to Brighton then'
All in all a good performance, enjoyable to see the ball being played on the deck for the first 45 minutes.
