I can see why they've picked Rochdale v FC United and Southport v Sheff Weds.

Not sure why Cambridge v Huddersfield is on though. Doesn't exactly jump out, does it.

fair choices, not so sure about Rochdale v FC of Manchester which should be comfortable home win (obvious man yoo ties plus local derby), cambridge v huddersfield former leaguer club against one of top clubs il league one so no surprise there. southport v sheff weds tie of the round for ITV they always pick the bigger clubs. our game was never going to be on.

Don't see what's to moan about any of these picks. As others have said if we were away to Woking it would be a certainty given their history and us being top of league one, but we're not and therefore on paper it looks like a stroll in the park for us.

The Cambridge v Huddersfield fixture is a good pick. Conference team with league history and a probable packed ground against a high league one side. Good pick I'd say.

2011 it might have been different as well, going to the AMEX it'd be a bit of a different trip for Woking and in the eyes of the media, but with it being the Withdean, ITV are always going to go for the names not the teams.

Does anyone else think FC United Of Manchester is the most stupid name for a football club?

The FC United story obviously has a lot of mileage given the recent Rooney saga, the Glazers, the fans set up their own breakaway club, FC get an average gate of 2500 in the Unibond Premier which averages about 400. Then it's a local derby with Rochdale, it will be a full house as well, FC have incredible support from disgruntled Utd fans, they'll take an allocation of 2 or 3k easily if not more.

Apparently they wanted to call themselves FC Wanka...but that name had already been taken by a Peruvian side!
