So who was there? I remember being in the East Terrace watching the game. Didn't the club have to give some of the North Stand (uncovered) to the Norwich fans?

No, I was on a geography field trip in sodding Southampton, what a waste of bloody time...gutted! My brother was there, in the North West corner, pretty sure he got onto the TV...will have to watch and see if I can spot him, cheers for the tip off.

East Terrace - a fraction south of the half way line. Half way back. Great view - great result - happy days.

And I'm just starting to get a sense of that kind of positive attitude from the crowd at Withdean in the last couple of matches...so remember these great old games and then support the fantastic new young squad.

Do you remember the Newcastle fans ripping the piss out of the PA when he referred to them as New-carsle? They had a lot of fans down for the game and made it clear that it's New-cassle!

I am not ashamed to say I was crying on the terraces at Highbury when the final whistle blew. The pride and emotion was all too much, I thought my heart would explode.

I have never been to a more random game than that. I can't even remember why we were there.

To be honest the only things I enjoyed about each of the quarter and semi finals was the final whistle. I was sick to my stomach with tension during both of them. Good job I couldn't get to Hereford as I would probably have expired by half time.

HALF the North Stand.

The other half they gave over to Norwich City fans.

Was at all of them too with the exception of Newcastle away
Stood in the West Stand for Norwich - I don't know why cos at that time I used to stand on the East Terrace

Not there. I was stationed at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire and couldn't get a weekend's leave.
