Think we’re about to get some cars going round a track…

MV out in Q2 as Stroll caused a red flag. Will start 17th with his 5 place penalty

That will set off the conspiracy theorists again. Not that I care given it’s funny as f***.

Martin Brundle made the point that F1 is just about the only global sport without an elite, professional team of rule-enforcers. I think he’s right, the whole stewards / race control setup needs properly professionalising.
Agreed. When you consider the millions spent by the teams, then specialist professional officials is a no brainer

It's going to be a busy couple of hours in the Aston Martin garage patching up both cars before the race

All these crashes are going to give Verstappen places back as I can't see some of these cars being ready to race in three hours.

I feel like Norris needs to take at least 15 points out of Verstappen today if he is to have a chance in the championship.

What are the conspiracies?
After the Sprint yesterday there were rumblings about how the VSC was bought out after the Norris / Piastri switch (the yellows were already waving) and it was then disabled when Piastri and Verstappen were at the end of the DRS section so he couldn’t overtake (and then incurred the penalty)

Sounds a bit desperate. I'm assuming it's some challenged max fans worrying themselves silly over it?

Martin Brundle is a Media driven bell end . . The Stewards as a group have a 100+ years of motorsport experience between them. How 'professional' do they need to be.

you don't become a basic steward without training and experience.

Pretty much, the first FIA decision for years to disadvantage Red Bull and the toys have exited the pram at speed

Five red flags in this qualifying session.
Great entertainment with so many variables caused by the water on the track.
Usually I switch channel after 10 minutes because it is all so predictable.
