Lewis now signed to Mercedes until the end of 2023. Time to give the boot to our fun guy with his pit-lane contacts as Hamilton was meant to have been dumped last season!

No need to be nasty about it I did say my source got it wrong, but at that time it was far more likely to go that way. I can not speak/text my source today as I am sure you will appreciate, but if I hear why he jumped in for another 2 years I will let you know.

Verstappen is driving fantastically this season but it’s quite a shame we don’t have a close battle, that Red Bull is absolutely dominant around these kind of tracks. After early season promise of close battles it looks like the red bull are miles ahead.

I don't think they're miles ahead. This track is ideal for them, 2 x grand prixs at the same venue. They've definitely been making the better calls, MV is super confident and driving very well, but I referred to it earlier, Ferrari looked this hot in 2017/18 but blew it in the end. As zefarelly said, the next races could put a different spin on this championship.

What is massively good to see is Norris and McLaren coming into things, and Russell and Williams jumping up the field, as well as Lewis still in contention: great for British race fans, well most British racing fans that is...

If this was a Mercedes out front people would be saying it’s boring dominance, they’ve won the last what 6 races now and led nearly 400 laps compared to about 150 from all other drivers, the Red Bull is very dominant this year, nothing wrong with that mind you, swings and roundabouts in F1, I was just hoping this would finally be the season we got to see lots of wheel to wheel action between Lewis and Max but it’s not looking that way IMO

Maybe Lewis isn't as great as many make out? It could have just been the car???

I wonder whose fault it will be today?

Even low to no confidence Bottas sticks it to Lewis.

Norris is the man, 8 times world champion in a dominant car?

Watch this space.

Very true.
I wonder when people will turn against Max?

Is this season the passing of the torch season? Or is it just a blip and mercedes and Lewis will be back next year?

The first few races promised a really close season. Shame it's not turning out that way.

Great to see Lando doing so well. Future champion?

I suppose It depends whether he is an arse, whether he preaches politics and whether he tries suing companies just because he can.

I think he has his feet firmly planted. We will see.

If Lando gets a top car, the lad can go all the way IMO.

Brilliant from Max and Lando today. Too early to say if it's a permanent transfer of power, but it feels like a torch pass for this season. Lando can definitely win a championship in the right car.

Says the bloke who preaches politics on pretty much every thread he contributes to.

I know this is a bit stupid but the guy who is disadvantaged by being pushed off the track gets nothing. The perpetrator gets a 5 sec penalty the disadvantaged gets SFA! other than being disadvantaged, shirley he should get a 15 second bonus added?!

There is some weird conceptions about if Lando gets a top car he has got what it takes to make it to the top while Hamilton has done it all but only got there because he was in a top car......weird.

I see the Mouldy troll’s blind hate for Hamilton is still burning strong, honestly don’t even bother trying to debate with him/her anymore :lolol: The level of hate and delusion is so great I really can’t fathom if it’s serious or just mindless waffle baiting.

Come on GB, I attempt to equalise this one-directional forum and I do not have a platform to preach to and I would not do it anyway.

Back on topic, too early to say whether the torch has been passed or has quenched.

What did you think about Landos 5 point penalty?

Come on matey, I have always said any half-decent driver with the quickest car will win titles. Perhaps you have not read my posts on this???

Not trolling anyone, just because I am not a Hamilton fan it does not make me a troll.

Do you have to bloke smoke up Lewis exhaust pipe on this thread all the time, or speak as you feel???

Is this a Hamilton and BHA forum now?
