F1 2011 - PS3 - anyone seen the safety car yet?

To unlock this feature you need to do 12 laps backwards and then drive 200mph into a stand full of spectators.

I just looked it up on the trophy list, and you're right, it's named 'Drive like a slapper on the phone'.

not got the game but I read in a review you can turn it on/off

Gray said the safety car will feature online as well as in single-player races. It can be turned off and is only available in races of more than 20% full distance.

Yep - first corner of my first career race. Completely misjudged cold tires/heavy car and took out 3 people (they lost wheels and were stuck in the middle of the track, I escaped with a puncture and broken wing). Safety car was out for about 4 laps.

What settings did you have for that? We've had a few pile ups but still no safety car.

Xbox version is pretty good, but has taken a back seat due to the Fifa 12 early release, which is awesome.

One massive shame is that the Co-Op multiplayer is an online function only. Do they think that we would rather "play" online with virtual mates rather than have them in the same room. uggghhhhh

I agree with this for the PS3 version too, but I guess it's because the split screen is a bit shit.

What settings did you have for that? We've had a few pile ups but still no safety car.

Ermm, I think it was full-weekend and expert difficulty. I've not seen any option to turn it on or off, other than it needing to be a race longer than 20% distance (and I guess you'd need to have damage turned on).
