It's only part of the story though. There has been a catalogue of monumental f*** up's on and off the pitch. The inconsistent team selection, tactics, the disruption caused in the summer by signing umpteen centre halves, the lack of an experienced keeper to challenge Kuipers, the inability to sign a left back in the summer, the favouritism shown to Virgo and Hawkins, Robinson frozen out, the state of the pitch, failing to replace Wilkins coaching ability, the signing of players like McLeod who clearly don't give a f***...
