The worlds weather is changing - i dont think anyone really thinks its not.

But is it man made? Not in my view. All i hear is things like, 'hottest sommer in 100 years' or coldest in 100 years'. The globe has been around for a lot longer than a 100 bloody years. Infact, there was a time many moons ago that the world uninhabitable due to the weather being so bad. Not our fault.

Now recycling is good. But people have been doing that for years, its nothing new.

Actually, standard global warming theory states that Europe will be in an Ice Age. And when it happens it will happen very quickly... a matter of a few years (less than 5 years)

There was a mini ice age during the middle ages in Europe. Its just a cycle the world goes through. (in my view)

Potentially. But the difference is that this time it is man-made and need not happen

Earth's 4.5 billion year history is one long story of climate change.

Recognizable humans have been around for about 2.2 million years and about 250,000 years for Homo sapiens.

We have been industrialized for about 300 years max.

Dont get me wrong. We need to reduce the amount of rubbish we create and recycle as much as posible. (but this is nothing new) .

We have been industrialized a lot less than 300 years... more like 150. And suddenly the climate is changing significantly. That's not a coincidence.

Anyway, I'm off.

No, suddenly the climate is not changing significantly.

Acualy we have been industrialised for aroud 3000 years. Making metals for wars.

No offence. But i could make a graph like that and just put straight line on it. Who made it and who are they funded by?

Also, it goes back to 1860. How do you know that its not the same on the 150 year befour balencing out?

Since when has the odd blacksmith here and there been considered as being industrialised?

an interesting graph to be sure. but noone seem to have a good reason for the 1940-80 period flattening out. unless thats explained by the theory/model presented, there is a flaw. one of the problems with these graphs is the sources of data have changed or can be affected by local factors. anything before the 1800's is based on highly inaccurate measures such as tree rings.
