after my post yesterday I think yeah, lots of players are better than last time in Division 2 (Pethick and Mayo for example), plus the young players have come on well. so yeah, i think we have a stronger squad, even minus Brooker

Maybe I'll have you all virtually going mad at me - but I never thought Brooker was fantastic anyway!!!

If we keep Knight, then I agree with your comments. If not, then mid table obscurity for us me thinks!

At work - probably
Stronger in the goalkeeping dept and in midfield, more options up front - but not necessarily better. The defence? - slightly weaker - but about the same if Blackwell was fit IMHO.

I still think we were lucky injury-wise two years ago. Simon Morgan played virtaully every game as did Danny C and Chippy - if any of them had been injured for any length of time (which happended to BZ) we wouldn't have gone up. I also think we had the element of surprise last time - which we may not have this time - oh, and last time we had the best striker outside of the Prem!!!

I personally can't see us go up automatically - there are two many strong teams, which was confirmed by the results on Saturday - all the top teams got a win or a draw.
