"Its a small world"

Does anyone have any good un's?

I only mention this because I've just found out who is on my graduate scheme down in Bournemouth, and there's a fella on there who went to Nottingham Uni with me, who I met very randomly in Reading once (to say "didn't you go to Nottingham Uni?") and now a third random occurrence will happen.

Three times is just a bit scary, isn't it?

Also when I was 8 I went on holiday to Malaysia only to see three girls from my class there. Spooky.

Whilst on the golf course in Majorca, I bumped into a freind from college, who was also on holiday their.
Guess Majorca is a popular destination though.

My cousin actually bumped into one of his old football team mates in Mexico!

Try going to someone elses home next time Posh. If your wife is there, that would be really freaky.

In my last year at school, we were given old GCSE exam papers that students had done to give us an idea of what to expect. I got my sister-in-laws. Small world indeed.

Walking round Walmart three days ago and my wife bumping into a long lost brother she'd not seen in ten years.

Going up to North Carolina to meet up with a freind from LA who was attending her best friend's wedding up there. Turns out the groom is a Brit and a rabid Grimsby fan. We ended up having a long football related conversation which totally baffled the Yanks.

Not that small I know but interesting anyway.

When I was about 12 we wer ein florida a week before the end of school and were at one of the waterparks and behind me in the queue for one of the slides was a lad in the class next to mine at school whose parent had tekne him out of school a week early as well.

We were good mates after that for some bizarre reason

When the Orient Express was just a regular train service from Calais to Istanbul, with a section that was split off at Belgrade and sent on to Athens, I once traveled on it in the company of three lads who were going to Budapest.

They got off at Munich and we continued to Athens.

Three weeks later, hitch-hiking back from Greece (thanks to a nifty pick-pocket who had stolen half our cash), we fetched up in Lucerne in Switzerland at 2.00am, with nowhere to sleep. But there was a bus shelter close to where we'd been dropped off.

Amazingly, it was already occupied by the three lads we'd met on the train, who had decided that they didn't like Budapest and would go to "somewhere more civilised".

When I first got a pc I found the official message board first (I know - please excuse my ignorance) We started to meet up with siome of the guys for matches.

Out of the 5 we meet regularly, 3 have exactly the same first names as my half-brothers and 1 of them went to school with them.

I met former albion winger Gavin Geddes at the Crypt nightclub in Hastings about 8 or 9 years ago.
Then, while on holiday in Tenerife in 1998, I met him again in Lineker's bar watching an England game on the big screen.

Only thing I remember talking about was a 3-3 home draw with Bournemouth being the best atmosphere I have ever known at the Goldstone and apparently he was the one who crossed the ball for the last minute equaliser.

To this day, he is the only Albion player I have ever met. Spooky eh?

In 1999, we went on a tour of California, Nevada & Arizona and when in Vegas I bumped into a mate in the Luxor Hotel at 4.30am! Neither of us had a clue the other was on holiday!
