Yes.

John Keeley is Portsmouth Goalkeeping coach and next June will become my brother in law when he marries Mrs H’s sister. 👍

Did you give your consent just to KEEP ‘ER in the family?!!

Oh, yes, here ALL week!

Brighton LEGEND (86-87) David Roberts moved to Bodens BK in Sweden and played there for 22 years and is now running a local sports store.

Thanks for this Swansman - I LOVE hearing about former Albion players, and the more obscure the better. Roberts was released by Southampton during his U-16 schoolboy season but spent two years as a trainee at Albion between 1987 and 1989. Unfortunately he was no Ben White and was released at the end of the scheme. One of his fellow trainees was Stephen March - Solly's dad!

This is the full Albion squad in 1987-88 - Roberts is the second from right on the front row (half kneeling, next to Steve Penney). March is fourth from left on the back row, next to goalkeeper Trevor Wood:-

Haha.. you know em all.

Another one from Brighton who went to Sweden is Giles Stille, who was first a player and then a coach here for a lot of years. No idea what he is doing now.

Standing in the way of control
To address a couple from page one...

Nogan was doing fine in Preston/Burnley area after he retired. Enjoyed a few beers.

FDM was Locadia's agent while he was with us. I'd imagine he's set for life if he had any cut of the fee that brought JL here.

Johnny Byrne remains an absolute prince

Gerry Ryan was a great landlord at the Witch Inn until his stroke forced him to sell.

Was with a lad I knows mum - don’t know if still is
