Too early for Baleba, would like him in there as this side is weak defensively in midfield. Not sure who I would drop - probably Gilmour or Enciso.

Welbeck (Ferguson is a better player, but Welbeck makes us play better as a team)

Know it’s a game of opinions but for me on what I’ve seen so far there’s no way Pedro is our best striker.

Steele

VELTMAN
Van hecke
DUNK
Estupinan

Gross

March
Ferguson

Welbeck

I do not think i need to explain why two of my selections are in capital letters. Was a bit torn by Pedro/Ferguson selection.

Seeing a lot of comments like this regarding March.

He has 3 goals from 6 games and is just returning to full fitness following an injury. Just 453 mins of football so far this season.

Harsh crowd. Still in my strongest team assuming we can pick from everyone being fully fit.
Fair comment, however just my opinion, he has not looked confident in the last couple of appearances and he is 100% a confidence player

Adingra excites me more, shoot me.

I think that Fati after a few months might be undroppable but he's not in the best 11 for now for me. Joao Pedro concerns me a bit, I think he isn't as good as he believes himself to be but his penalty taking is quality and he wins a good amount too!

I thought this thread might be an interesting one for the don't-rate-March / don't-rate-Groß crowd to out themselves!

March is a terrific player but I just don't think we realise yet how much we have lucked out over Adingra

No way am I giving a strongest XI because for most of our players I think it depends largely on form - we've got cover and competition almost everywhere. The only players who walk into the first XI when fit for me are Dunk, Veltman and arguably Groß.

I'm fine with RDZ perming from and rotating pretty much everyone else.

However good Gilmour has done has not replaced the ball winning and driving forward that Caicedo did and assume for the money we paid Baleba will come good in that role. Not seen so far but hoping Fati will score more than Solly but Solly would be badly missed tracking back.. Gross Enrisco Farti Ferguson and Mitoma in because of scoring ability so may struggle in defence so a lot of work for Baleba
