Liverpool would get my vote for "Dullest Stadium Announcer" though.

Definitely Man City.
Can’t say I’ve seen any plastic City fans in Newhaven, the Liverpool shirt wearing plastics will be out on Saturday.
A big percentage of kids in my class when I was at junior school supported Liverpool.
Man City beat Gillingham in the division 2 (third tier) play off final in 1999 :lolol:

Oh….nearly forgot the Brighton Kop  :wozza: :censored:

I'd rather choose between Tranmere or Stockport.

Liverpool because I absolutely loathe Pep Guardiola for his classlessness when we beat Abu Dhabi FC last season.

This of course ignores Klipperty's monumental sarky hissy FIT at Des Kelly at the Amex, after a late VAR pen rescued a 1-1 draw for us. The CRIME against LFC was having to play on Wednesday night, and then Saturday lunchtime, which his billion-pound squad could apparently hardly be expected to cope with.

That gurning donkey-toothed baseball capped muppet and the army of nationwide plastics can DO one. I have no affection for City and can comfortably shrug when they win a pot. But Liverpool winning anything is always utterly unbearable.

I sincerely hope they only end up with the fizzy sugar cup this season. That would make my summer tbh.

City. There are a lot of clubs that think they are massive but aren't. Take Newcastle, they have always had delusions of grandeur but when Brian Wade was scoring 4 against them in old div 2, they were struggling to get 10,000. When City were in League 1, they got crowds of 30,000 plus and that was before football got sexy. Their fans are pretty good in the main - yes the have their share of bellends - as they've been shit and aren't quite so entitled as the other big 6.

Liverpool are just nauseating. This is Anfield. Oh look at this shithouse pelican crossing on the Abbey road, we aren't English, we are scouse. You'll never walk alone can **** off as well as any Albion fan signing it when we go to Liverpool away. Get in the bin.

And there's every chance of that happening, especially now the PL is City's to lose. I quite fancy Chelsea for the FA Cup and Real Madrid for the CL.

Still, one second-rate cup isn't a bad return for a squad where two thirds of the players are apparently asthma sufferers. If that is the case then hopefully there is some sort of medication they could take to help with that.

Oh please, Liverpool all day with their history, success and authentic support.

Man City ?

They remind me of Lottery winners pictured in the newspaper with a big cheque hoping to buy a mock Tudor mansion and shed full of quad bikes.

Silly question.

Liverpool, club with sheds of history and success, vs shadow of a bigger club with good fortune of a new stadium at tax payer expense.

Nice city and I know they have all the history etc, but always had a poor opinion of Liverpool FC since their handling of the Suarez racism incident and the players then wearing the 'team Suarez' shirts. Maybe I should but never been able to shake the dislike. & they seem to be much like United in that even down here in the south you never seem to be far from one of their 'fans' who's never actually been to Anfield/Old Trafford. As others mentioned the ''Imagine being us/this means more'' banners etc is also nauseating arrogance. So for those reasons i'd begrudgingly choose City, not that i like them much either. Or more likely i'd just take the bullet.

Not bothered, really. But once knew someone who had a City s.t., but was a good quality player himself and often played for his non league team when City were playing. This was in the Dreamtime when Saturday at 3 was in vogue. He gave me his ticket so that he could get an honest view of how Peter Barnes was playing. I used to fib a lot.

So I’ve gone City.
