Not sure, but apparently listening on 0.5 speed is an effective alternative to general anaesthetic.Does listening on x1.5 speed make it sound less DULL?
Asking for a friend.

Absolutely this. 0 pts for a deliberate and confessed breach of FFP by £19m - sets a meaningful marker. What has stood in Everton's favour is that they have been quite open with the PL during their failed attempts to remain within FFP. 10 points will be a largely meaningless deduction, its not going to cost them their place in the PL this season. They would be wise to just suck it up, as any appeal or failed challenge to it could potentially incur a further sanction that WOULD prove damaging to them. Just suck on it and move on, scouse.
Man City and Chelsea though...the former has refused to cooperate over the 115 charges, and has denied, ubfuscated, obstructed and swerved at every single turn to tie this up in knots and drag this out for years. The latter has been caught bang to rights by the (then) owner using his proxy businesses to pay millions and millions to 3rd parties "off the books" at Chelsea in order to circumnavigate FFP.
If those charges are brought to bear, then relegation (possibly a "Rangers" as someone mentioned) should certainly be the outcome. Evertons offence is utterly small-fry by comparison, but -10 has set down a serious marker. Can't wait to see how this plays out.
Agreed. And yet they seem utterly determined to tie themselves up in knots over whatabouteries. I wouldn't say a ten point deduction is getting off lightly, but they really should be looking at the bigger picture right now. They've got over two-thirds of the season left to finish above 3 of the most FEEBLE clubs ever to stink out the PL, and are only 2 points away from safety now. They're going to absolutely piss it.Absolutely this. 0 pts for a deliberate and confessed breach of FFP by £19m - sets a meaningful marker.
Everton fans claiming that a 10 pt deduction is harsh are absolutely missing the point.
10 pts in either of the past 2 seasons would have seen them comfortably relegated.
This season, they have a high likelihood of staying up regardless . That is as good as this season is likely to get for them anyway.
I'd like to see what the appeal is considering they admitted it?Agreed. And yet they seem utterly determined to tie themselves up in knots over whatabouteries. If they carry on with their scouse whining and crying all the way back to the doors of the PL though, then I'd be of a mind to say "Look - you're guilty. So Lets make it 15 points then eh ? No ? Well f*ck off then, and stop wasting even more of our time, you bunch of CHISLERS".
Or words to that effect.
"the bigger boys made us do it"I'd like to see what the appeal is considering they admitted it?
They'll appeal the punishment, not the crime.I'd like to see what the appeal is considering they admitted it?
Well, considering one of their defences was they thought they would get more for a player, it wouldn't shock me."the bigger boys made us do it"
...Brighton!Yeh, the popcorn gif things you see are horrifically over used.
But in this situation, completely appropriate.
I think both clubs will have the book thrown at them. Especially City. It will take time. But I think deep down, fans of those clubs are slowly awaking from the denial they've been operating in. Mostly they are now going through the aggression stage.
What is worse, is that the relegations they will suffer, will mean they have no choice but to sell all of their stars, for a fraction of their worth because they have to now be FFP compliant and their income will have dropped by 99+%. They will also be facing colossal law suits from rival clubs.
And where will these stars go to? Liverpool. Man Utd. Arsenal. Newcastle
I think it’s the ~£300m lawsuits that could be bought against them which is making them appeal. That’s administration plus can you really see a new investor like 777 going into that deal knowing that is on the horizon? No me neither.I'm very much in the Everton should shut up and suck it up camp.
They broke the rules, they've been punished.
The punishment will have very little effect on their season. Without it they would probably have finished somewhere around 12th-14th. With it they'll finish 15th-17th. They weren't qualifying for Europe without it and they won't go down with it.
To reiterate: Stop whining Everton. You broke the rules, you're being punished for it, deal with it.
I don't really see where the grounds for the lawsuits are.I think it’s the ~£300m lawsuits that could be bought against them which is making them appeal. That’s administration plus can you really see a new investor like 777 going into that deal knowing that is on the horizon? No me neither.
They’re in serious bother, and it’s their fault, and it’s f’ing brilliant.
Firstly, its not the PL who imposed the sanction on Everton, so nobody can sue them.I don't really see where the grounds for the lawsuits are.
The issue is that Everton spunked a load of money on players that managed to get them 39 and 36 pts in a season.
It's hardly if the extra spend got them an unfair advantage is it?
Surely the complaint the relegated teams have is with teh Premier League, who have chosen to impose a penalty after the event.
I don't see how Everton can be accountable for that.

OK then...12 points for CityFor 115 charges? That’s an awful lot of serious undoing. I’m intrigued as to how this is going to pan out and when. I also wonder whether both Man City and Chelsea are going through a squeaky bum time knowing their time in the dock is approaching. Crikey, this is almost as good as the Wagatha case.
All this was while they were already knowingly walking an FFP tightrope.
