I forgot to say I saw John Robinson shopping in Churchill Square about 3 years ago. Chris May wandering around Churchill square with his girlfriend and Mushy out jogging on Brighton beach

Before you say he is not a Brighton player, he is listed as he scored the best goal ever seen at Withdean.

Normally see the away players going for a morning stroll along the seafront - although they don't count.

I was once shopping for pants in Marks and Spencers in Richmond when something, out of the corner of my eye ,distracted me from the lines of cotton and lycra. On looking up I saw Pete Townsend, a couple of pairs of boxers in hand, standing next to me gazing at the vey pair I was looking at.
"You can't beat M+S for yer undies eh Pete" I said
"Very true" he replied, laughing at the sillines of our situation.
And no, he's not and has never been a Brighton player, but he did play Pinball Wizard and that mentions Brighon.

Ah, but were any of them wearing their Brighton shirt at the time?
I remember Baker and Kelly's old radio shows featured calls from people spotting players out shopping, or wearing their shirts in public - pride of place going to Neil Lennon, wearing his Leicester shirt for breakfast at a Spanish holiday resort, and his Northern Ireland kit for dinner.

... and David Platt wearing a Hawaaian shirt, Bermuda shorts and rolled-down Arsenal away socks in an Oxford Street shoe shop.

Or there's a Jelly Baby-guzzling imposter on the loose, pretending to be Guy Butters?

saaf of the water
Kuipers in Crawley County Mall with his (fit) missus and son.

Stopped for a chat. Quality Bloke.

Saw him again later the same day - I think he thought we were stalking him!
