To sound a note of positivity before we get on to the actual football, I have found ITV's presentation to be markedly improved from previous efforts.

OK, their commentators are of variable quality, but technically, but their streams over ITVX are actually pretty good, and I haven't noticed any glaring hiccups like showing adverts instead of goals. I am probably cursing things by bringing it up now, but credit where its due.

Whilst I know you're just poking fun at Southgate's bland tactical changes, it wasn't obvious (until it was leaked) that the one change would be Trent for Conor, and that after only 45 minutes (Southgate usually gives them a lot longer) he'd replace Conor for Mainoo.

Palmer did so well you'd think he'd start.
