I'm sure a number of games week in, week out in all leagues where gambling is involved are influenced in some form.

Dodgy referee? Strange team selection? Bad defensive error? etc etc Hmmm!!

I'd be surprised if an English club was stupid enough to fix matches, although some players are stupid enough therefor if it was someone on an English clubs side I'm sure the club will not have any blame placed upon them. Whoever is guilty will probably get away with a small fine anyway

I can think of that Chelsea game against Barcelona a few years ago where Chelsea should have had at least 3 penalties, maybe 4, and the ref gave none. It did look dodgy.

Then Chelsea winning it last year. Messi, Robben, both missing penalties, in the 2 legged semi and the final, Chelsea must have had 3 chances in 300mins of football, and yet managed to win - something the Russian would give anything for, and lets face it, if he can spend £50m on Torres...
