The dad....one of the impossible things with studying Rome is that the first born son was called the same as the father.

The younger one did wipe out Carthage in the 3rd Punic war, so I thought i'd better check

Though I do believe he was for want of a better word was the adopted grandson of Scipio Africanus.

You're right though, the names make studying it slightly confusing at times!
