As someone who only did the home games, it has to be that Marseille winner so late in the game

Worthing
I’ve loved every minute of it.
I only did the one away trip due to lack of holiday and funds, but what a way to do it. Cruise ship to Amsterdam and winning at their place that I never expected to see the Albion play in in my lifetime. Really special trip.
Pedro’s goal against Marseille was probably the standout moment of the whole campaign, though. Topping that group brought me joy I hadn’t experienced at a football match since Newcastle 1979.
So proud of the whole club for this special season. I want more of it please.

I only did Athens away, but it was a personal dream. I’ve been going to Greece my whole life, have a family house there and deep personal connections to the country. Seeing the Albion in Athens was my wildest dream from the earliest twinkling of our European adventure on the horizon. Only had we played Olympiakos could it have been bettered.

The only downside is I got absolutely barttered and don’t remember it too well!

So my personal memory is Ajax away. About 6 weeks beforehand, my father nearly dies from covid & sepsis. The road to recovery was long and stressful, and if Im being honest, I wasnt convinced that he would be fit enough to make the journey; however, he did make it, and the 3 days we spent in Amsterdam are something I think I will treasure for a very long time - he still talks about this trip now as being an experience he never thought he would get to see. I'm not sure a trip to Burnley would have carried the same weight as this tbh....

Football wise, seeing my team take on the giants of Europe, and actually competing with them is also another standout highlight. Topping the group with the late winner against Marseille was beyond anything I thought we could achieve. And the performance last night was our best in months - it felt like we were back after weeks of dodgy tactics and individual mistakes.

8 games in Europe, and only 2 defeats. Not bad for a 1st attempt at all - hopefully this break will help us get some players back for the big push to do this again.

Athens was my best time following The Albion ever. I wont bore you with the details for the umpteenth time.

The one outstanding memory I will repeat as it meant so much to me was Ajax.
Having missed out on the T2 bun fight my son and I decided to travel any despite him being gutted at the prospect of missing out. (I can take disappointment)
At 9a.m on the day of the match while sitting in the departure lounge at Heathrow, a solitary ticket popped up and my 14 year old son bagged it. The look on his face will last me a lifetime 🙂

Just far enough away from LDC
There are just sooo many to choose from. 1st game v aek and realisation that it was really happening but would be so bloody difficult

Late comeback at marseille and the buses, trains, ferry , more buses method of getting there..going with my two sons in a real bonding experience

Home win ajax (bloody ajax which for people of my age is a legendary team)

Then bloody winning away at them. This time with the whole family. This was THE stand out tie from when the draw was made. Hotel near stadium, rum and coke in my seat, roof closed, at least 7k fans in the city and seeing mates everywhere we went

Then athens away. All the family again. Mad dash to get there. Fantastic scenery, historic sites on every turn, good win, teargas and great next day seeing fans everywhere and lewis dunk appearing in loads of people's instagram stories

Marseille home.....late late drama and pedro in the crowd

Roma away - rome is one of my favourite cities and i did fear it may damage my view of it. No such thing..playing in the olympic stadium, huge crowd, edgy atmosphere (i have a mental block on 90 ish mins of the day). Wonderful sean in rome coach convoy and brilliant to dine with so many friends and acquaintances

And then last night. The crowd and the players gave their all. We get a win deservedly. Could have had the 3 goal difference over the 2 games on chances we carved out. Not to be

We end with 5 wins, 2 defeats and a draw.....we leave with pride and as was said last night. We wont cry because its over; we will smile because it happened!

Went to every away game. Loved every minute of it (apart from the actual Roma game). Some great meals, drinking, some amazing memories.

I would have done anything to get to these games. Lots of excuses on this thread!!! .... No excuses from me, if you don't have the money stack some shelves for a few hours at a local supermarket or borrow some....if you don't have the days off at work then bunk off. I was prepared to cut short my Miami trip when it looked like we were entering the round before , luckily Pedro scored against Marseille.

AEK away, despite post match tear gassing.

Wonderful 4 night stay in Piraeus, saw all the archeological sites, very interesting and excellent bars and restaurants plus the bonus of winning.

I was a little disappointed with the Roma fans, I was expecting noise/pyros etc. Maybe their hard core have travel restrictions..

Overall, Marseille fans I felt were the best at the Amex followed by Athens.

Not a ‘highlight’, but the Athens headed goal was the best I’ve ever seen (with a head)!
