So in simpleton terms - where is the average fan with an England standard / Uefa basic account going to look for tickets please...?

Thanks all - pls advise!

Ha. Bit premature with that.

If - and it's a big if - extra tickets do become available, UEFA need to reallocate 10s of thousands of tickets first....

They bloody well better do. I want want my tickets back!

To complicate matters further, Easyjet have cancelled my flight back the UK on the 28th so now I can't fly till the 3rd, meaning the final will be within my 10 day quarantine period.

Anyone actually had the money back into their banks yet?

I've had the email saying the refund has been processed but no cash.

Yes - a couple of weeks ago

Received my email saying the refund was successfully initiated on Saturday by the Nyon bureaucrats, and the funds are on the card today - over £30 down on what I paid back in 2019 and for the privilege of giving the tickets back so they can no doubt be used for hospitality and on competition winners. Not that I`m bitter in any shape or form

I'm either very lucky or they are getting more tickets released. Just been offered to buy a ticket for the Czech game on top of the Scotland game. Almost feels greedy to take it.

Via FA, presumably? Sounds like you've been very lucky!

(Happy to go in your place, btw)

Now have my full refund from UEFA. The ****s.

I got Croatia tickets in the re-ballot today. So Croatia+Scotland not bad. Still wonder if we might get more for the Czech game, if the Czech FA return tickets + potential for other returns

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the tickets have an allocated 30 minute entry time to the stadium. Can't see how they can stick with that if there are travel delays.

I don’t think it matters. The allocated times are to help avoid crowds. A huge percentage will arrive in their allocation window, they don’t need everyone to. If they did nothing, people would inevitably turn up more or less at the same time.

Not really, as it includes lateral flow tests, which are free and easy to get.

I do two of these every week... what I don't understand about this is that they are very easy to fake, if one were so inclined... all you need to do is go on to the website and say you tested negative?

If someone did a lateral flow test, came back positive, but still wanted to go to the game - which is likely, sadly - then they would probably just do the above.

This is the problem with LFT, all you need is the ref number and you can say what you want about the result, or get your mate to do it. Really surprised they don't want a photo of the result as well, but if your mate did it that would get around that problem. Also it doesn't say where you stand from a refund point of view. If you get your money back as you couldn't attend the game, I think you will see more people being honest, but if you lose your money people could just turn up.

How do you show you have a negative lateral flow test? And when?

That's.... quite last minute!

Not many! Did they do this for the cup final/play offs? If so why are they only letting us know this now?!?!

All my tickets and others I know of say come 2.5 hours before kick off. Sod that!

I know they need to be seen to be doing something but as per the above its pointless.

You have to submit it to the Covid app and either show the app or the confirmation text.

OR you can use the other NHS app (which my pal who works for the NHS didn't even know about until I told him about it) to show your vaccination status as long as you've had both jabs.

Right pain to be honest, one of our group is a complete tech luddite, I've already given up trying to send him his ticket, he'll just have to use my phone. Christ knows how we're going to get him sorted for this new requirement.
