From the West Ham Official Website:-

"Roared on by an enthusiastic Upton Park crowd on a cold afternoon in East London, Alan Pardew’s men continued to push forward..."

Someone is clearly having a laugh here.

All roaring came entirely from the massed Albion support. Who probably confused the reporter somewhat by chanting "Zamora, Zamora" more loudly than Upton Park can ever have witnessed.

And the main display of "enthusiasm and pushing forward" was by Hammers spectators as they stampeded for the exits at 0-1 down, with fully ten minutes left.

Didn't hear much from the home fans around me. Perhaps it was that most of them were actually Seagulls sitting quietly! ???
