...before the season started we were every bookies red hot favourites to finish bottom, and rightly so. We burgled the play offs, have no money even for the the sort of loan signings that nearly kept us up last time and our ground's a joke. As it stands, we're competing, we're outside the relegation positions, and we've beaten Leicester, Forest and Leeds. If we stay up it'll be one of our greatest achievements, and if we don't, we're in a better position than this time last year with a load of young players with experience of a higher standard of football. And for us, we've still got trips to Upton Park, Elland Road etc to come.

Bring on the hammers and get behind the boys!!

(not those of us in the home end though :lolol: ): :clap2: :clap2:

But wouldn't it be nice to believe, after all those midweek trips to Rochdale/Hull/Hartlepool....yup, done 'em all ;) that trips to clubs like West Ham, Leeds, Forest, etc will become the norm and will occur next season, and then the next season, and so on and so forth?

People like myself get narked off, and are pessimistic, that after all the hard work the club has done to get us into "The Championship" we are going straight back down in 2005......

And before some bright spark mentions the "F" word, I've heard it all before

Having a shiny new stadium means f*** all if you are way down the divisions (see Oxford, Darlo)

We've got to live in the present, not keep harping on about Falmer, whenever that will be.

Does your wife ever get to spend quality time with you, or are you always typing away on NSC?

I spend plenty of quality time with my wife thanks and even more with my eldest son (watching the Albion :lolol: )

totally agree,3 very bad results,so what we were bound to hit a brick wall sooner or later, very much a case of back to the drawing board, must a dmit can't see a goal let alone a point in the near future, but life has a habit of bringing up things when you least expect 1-2 saturday?

Get a centre forward in, then I'll cheer up... until then, I believe my pessimism is justified...

I'll start to think about Falmer in the New Year when the public enquiry re-opens. In the meantime all I want to see is..........

NEW STRIKER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit pessimistic because of the recent teams that have been put out, I know we can do better. Leon and no other strikers last saturday? Was piercy played out of sympathy as he was retiring? Do we as supporters and paying customers deserve something more than an overly sympathetic / soft club? Why wasn't Robinson playing, surely better than a guy who will retire two days later?

You are right though, we are doing amazingly well really given the crap financial position we've got to deal with

Are you payin then?

How long unmtil people realise our financial situation. Loan strikers are an option but why should MM get someone in just for the sake of getting someone in, I have faith that he'll get someone when the right player becomes available.

ROLL ON SATURDAY AND CMON SEAGULLS!!
