4 hours to kick off lager and crisps at the ready no expense spared...hoping they can win it in normal time don't fancy staying up even later for extra time and pens

Never been as excited about our national football team since Euro '96.

In Lionesses we trust, go girls

Really?!

I'd take a men's World Cup or Euro group stage match over this.

I think it was Andy Goldstein used to ask how people watched MOTD, on his radio show, whether it was in trackies/pants or alike. Bearing in mind the weather and the timing of this game, NSC spectator attire creates some horrendous imagery.

Well England are playing in a world cup semi final, the first since 1990. there are no saint George flags on houses or cars that I can see. I don't know any of the players, but they have done better than the hyped up men's flops that we hoped would make our country proud in recent years.

Good luck the lionesses, maybe you will perform well without the media hysteria back at home

I shall be watching in hope, but have a bad feeling we are going to get properly slapped tonight.

The NIPS looked skilful and punchy in the games I've seen, whereas we have looked all huff and puff in all but the Canada game and 20 second half minutes of the Norway game.

I'd love to be proved wrong.
