Villa in the 79th minute

I would expect Spain to win 1-0 with a late goal, Villa in the 79th minute.

Being passed to death at the moment.

Not sure how many times England have hit it high and long from the back, only for a Spanish player to take possession back at halfway.

Keep the ball!

England are playing better than I thought, or are Spain not playing with the same tempo? Oops first card goes to milner.

Very good from England so far, what do people expect? if we play them at their own game we'd lose heavily, the negativity stinks.

I know it's not the done thing to be positive, but we've done exactly what you HAVE to do against Spain so far. We've been very good without the ball, not so good with it, but then what do you expect? Walcotts our only realistic chance of getting something here. Good stuff.

Sergios Ramos is a so schnide, as are a lot of the Spain side. Not only do they do everything else better but they are better foulers, divers and play acters. Not sure how the referee decided Milner deserved that booking.

Agreed. 0-0 against the world's best international team. Get behind your country FFS, if we battle out a dull 0-0 then we have done bloody well!

It's amazing isn't it? Embarrassing really, the attitude of some.

Considering we're not playing our full strength side, we're doing pretty well I'd say. Parker looks pretty comfortable but we're lacking any attacking flair.

Difficult to say how to approach the 2nd half. If we go 4-4-2 we'll probably get opened up.

I'll tell you what fucks me off, the fact that everyone loves Ashley Cole. He has NEVER had full control of a football. And don't worry, I'm not being negative, just an opinion. Zamora could do well in this game if he comes on and those long balls (or clearances more like) are played into sensible channels.
