Ha ha, I’m so glad I never watched that! You all kinda deserve what you were served up for ‘collaborating’ with this w/c ;)

Still, all the cash Beckham, Neville and all the other hypocrites have pocketed will no doubt soften the blow.

On with the Jungle now…:)

USA, Wales & Iran are all similarly ranked and, basically, teams with players far inferior to England's, it's frustrating not to beat them comfortably.
Just like the best teams in the PL don't always win against the lower teams. That's football.

Maguire was superb BTW.
He's good at league 2 bully boy defending, like a pound shop Dunk, withiut the penalties.

Imagine if White and webster were the central defence. By comparisson it really would be just like watching Brazil.

We play against them like we did today, should be no issue.
Yeah it’s not much different to what I posted earlier. I’d still have taken a scrappy 1-0 tonight and USA were good value for the draw and maybe should have nicked it. Still think you’ll beat Iran.

For anyone kicking the proverbial cat I’ll remind you this is actually the group of death. If you believe FIFA ranking points

Slab Head's interview inspirational. Apparently we've retained leadership of the Group. So that's all good then.

I preferred footballers before they've had the PR/social media "training". THAT WAS FUKKING SHITE!! said MUFC 3rd choice centre half. That sort of stuff.

Weary and leggy. I’m surprised we didn’t get beat. Why he doesn’t use his squad I don’t know. Bit of rotation to mix it up and be less predictable. Had the flair players on the bench who could have opened that lot up. Still, it’s a point and we should at least get into the next round.

Won't watch England whilst Gareth "I pick players on form" Southgate is in charge. But by the looks of Twitter he's getting rightly slaughtered again.

Unfortunately looks like they'll still get through against Wales on goal difference. A real shame.

But a positive night in terms of Southgate being showed up by someone who calls it soccer.

Seems to be an assumption USA are cannon fodder.

Some Germans probably thought that of Japan, Argentines of Saudi, Croatians of Morocco...

Not an impressive performance. But it's okay.

Yep. And you never win a tournament at the group stage. But hitting 6 in the opener has allowed us to game manage the next two

What we need is some injuries to key players to force Southgate to change the team. We usually do well then (1986 and 1990) Nothing too serious, niggly is fine.
We did better in 2018 under Southgate than 1986 and better in Euro 2021 than either
