Difficult as when England pick their strongest 11 we are one of the best sides about. However, how you incorporate all the players without end up with a long tail is an issue.

Would suspect whatever the result in this test, Freddie will replace one of Bell, Collingwood or Cook. However if you do that, do you want him batting at 6? The solution to this is to pick Prior, who can bat at 6 over Ambrose.

Would expect Jones to replace Anderson by the end of the summer. If Harmison continues his form and bowling at 90mph plus you want him in, but if you bring him back for Broad, you do not have a number 8 and at present Sidebottom is our best fast bowler.

Nice problems to have and if they all stay fit and in form, it could make for an interesting, if not one sided Ashes next summer.

Realistically of the 3 UB lists, it HAS to be Collingwood, which seems harsh as he has always contributed well. The other TWO are genuinelly class test cricketers, though.

Having said that, so far, Flintoff has done very little to suggest he deserves a recall anyway.

England's first innings score btw, will be 356.

Lets see how he gets on in the next county game.

But he bowled very well at Hove and on another day would have got 5 wickets. Our batsmen did not look happy facing him and he got quicker as the game went on.

Hmmm not sure about that. he certainly has begun to rediscover his touch with the bat over the last couple of weeks tho his bowling is not quite there yet but he is coming back into form. I suppose he presents a bit of a wildcard.

Harmison on current form tho should definately be in

I cant do the sunday. something to do with playing soccerkickball or something

Im going on the fri & sat tho

Saturday is ticking off the 8 Lewes pubs on the Ale Trail (which will take me up to 34 done) and having a sobering up 2 hours at the football.

Might be tempted with the Friday. The problem with Arundel is it is a pain unless somebody drives.
